Boycott iPhone 17
Team Congo took action in Paris during the launch of the iPhone 17 to denounce Appleā€™s complicity in the ongoing atrocities in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The companyā€™s lack of transparency in sourcing critical minerals such as cobalt and coltan directly links its supply chain to conflict and exploitation. Like many global tech giants, Apple profits from Congoā€™s resources while ignoring the human cost. Through this action, we demanded accountability and responsible sourcing that does not fund armed groups or perpetuate violence. Our message is clear: technology must not be built on human suffering, and we will continue to stand until justice and ethical responsibility prevail.
