Welcome to Team Congo! Whether you are Congolese, residing in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or part of the diaspora, or simply someone who cares about the Congolese cause and wishes to contribute to our efforts, you are in the right place and welcome. Our mission is to raise awareness about the genocide occurring in our country, to inform about current issues, to mobilize around concrete actions, and to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the DRC.

ORIGINS OF TEAM CONGO
Team Congo was created in response to the ongoing genocide that has persisted for three decades in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Team Congo is the result of collaboration among members of civil society, activists, militants, and professionals, all united by a common commitment.
The main goal is to raise awareness about this humanitarian crisis, mobilize international support, and strengthen identity and solidarity within the Congolese diaspora.
In addition to these efforts, Team Congo is determined to change the narrative about Congo, by highlighting the cultural riches and historical heritage of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
CHANGE THE NARRATIVE
"Change the Narrative" is a key initiative of Team Congo, aimed at reshaping the global perception of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Beyond raising awareness of the genocide and conflicts that have long defined the east of the country, Team Congo seeks to highlight the cultural, historical, and social riches of Congo.
By sharing these positive and lesser-known stories, Team Congo aims to build a more nuanced and complete image of Congo.
